You can host your GoldFellow^® party at your home, at your office or at a retail location. In fact, GoldFellow^® gold buying parties are great for bringing in customers to boutiques, salons, spas and wine bars. Just ask your GoldFellow^® gold buyer for ideas.

Gold parties make great fundraisers for schools, clubs and national organizations.

There's no cost for hosting a gold party. In fact, you will make money - 10% from every piece of gold purchased at your party! And, GoldFellow^® provides a refreshment reimbursement of up to $100 (see below for guidelines).

You will be reimbursed for refreshments on the night of your party according to the following guidelines: party hosts with 6-9 guests who sell gold receive $50 towards refreshments; party hosts with 10 or more guests who sell gold receive $100 reimbursement for refreshments.

Guests attending your gold party will be written a check for the items they sell on the spot. You will also be written a check at the end of the party for 10% of your gold party's total purchases plus a reimbursement for refreshments.

You'll get paid a $100 referral fee upon completion of each referral party with sales of $1,500 or more; $50 upon completion of referral parties with sales of $750 - $1500. A check will be mailed directly to you from GoldFellow^® corporate headquarters.

We're happy to reschedule your event if necessary, but your courtesy is appreciated. If you need to cancel or reschedule your party please try to give us at least 72 hours notice.

Once your check is cashed, your gold jewelry will be melted. Then the precious metals will be reclaimed, refined and recycled.

GoldFellow^® holds your items for 10 days after purchase before melting. If you change your mind about an item- or the entire sale- contact GoldFellow^® Customer Service directly at 1-877-696-5346, option 1. Your items will be set aside and you will receive instructions regarding the return of your payment.

We pride ourselves on our reputation as a leader for over 30 years in the gold jewelry industry and maintain a high level of security during all transactions. For your safety, we don't publish the locations of our home parties. You control your guest list. And, as an added safety precaution, our GoldFellow^® gold buyers do not carry cash.

GoldFellow^® calculates the cash value of your gold jewelry primarily based on these factors:

- The price of gold as quoted by the London afternoon fixing on the day of settlement
- The fine gold content of your karat gold jewelry which is a percentage of 24K (fine gold): 10K gold contains 41.6% fine gold; 14K gold contains 58.3% fine gold; 18K gold contains 75% fine gold
- The actual weight of your gold jewelry items

Our professionally trained gold buyer will test each item in front of your guests. But, if someone wants to know if they have anything of value prior to the party the simplest way is to read the karat markings on each piece.

Any one of these indicates that your jewelry is gold:

- For 10 karat- 10K, 10KT, .416
- For 14 karat- 14K, 14KT, .585
- For 18 karat- 18K, 18KT, .750
- For 22 karat- 22K, 22KT, .916
- For Platinum- 950PT, Platinum, 950PT 10%IR
- 1/10 GF refers to gold filled and is not solid gold.
Please note - though karat markings are usually present, they can be difficult to find or read without magnification or training. If your guests can't find markings on their items, suggest they bring them anyway! Our buyer will test everything and let your guests know exactly what they have before making an offer.

It takes 2.400 ounces of 10K, 1.714 ounces of 14K, 1.333 ounces of 18K or 1.091 ounces of 22K gold jewelry to equal one ounce of pure (.9999) gold.

The only stones GoldFellow^® purchases are diamonds 1/4 carat or larger. We do not purchase gemstones of any other kind such as (emeralds, rubies, pearls etc.). If your gemstones are over 1/2 carat each we will remove them upon request, and return them to you free of charge within 10 business days of the party you attend.
